This time, we’re analyzing the “Alexandrion” urban renewal complex in Jerusalem.
Several urban renewal plans have been approved for deposit in this area, reflecting a broader trend of urban densification. Adjacent to the project site is a large public area that includes schools, community centers, a neighborhood library, various sports facilities, and a public garden.
The complex currently includes 119 residential units in five 4-story buildings, spanning approximately 9.63 dunams.
The proposed plan is an urban renewal “evacuation and reconstruction” project, combining high-rise tower construction with mid-rise buildings. It includes residential units, commercial spaces, public buildings, open green areas (public open space), pedestrian paths, and public access easements.
